Review - Scicon Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium Cycling Sunglasses

Scicon Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium Review Tim Wiggins
I have tested many sunglasses on Life In The Saddle, but few of them have met the level of quality found in the new Scicon Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium sunglasses. The Italian brand is perhaps better known for their excellent bicycle transportation bags, but their eyewear line is equally worthy of praise and has excelled in my testing.

The Scicon Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium cycling sunglasses stand out for their construction quality. The titanium reinforced frame feels impressively solid without adding unnecessary weight, giving you the confidence that these glasses will handle years of hard use. The rigidity of the frames and the comfortable nose piece also translate into stability; having tested these on fast, technical downhills and during energetic trail run efforts, they remain locked in place without bouncing or slipping.

The oversized wrap-around lens provides excellent coverage. The aerodynamic shape channels airflow smoothly around your face, reducing wind irritation and helping maintain clear vision at high speeds.

The photochromic lens option I have been testing is a fantastic choice for anyone who trains or commutes year round. The lens adapts seamlessly to changing light conditions; darkening under bright sun and clearing when the light fades. For early morning or late evening commutes, where you often start in one light level and finish in another, this adaptability means you never have to swap lenses or carry spares.

Overall, the Scicon Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium sunglasses are among the most robust, best looking, comfortable and protective performance eyewear I have worn to date. Their combination of strength, stability, wrap-around protection and photochromic adaptability makes them a superb choice for demanding cyclists and runners. They will certainly be staying in rotation throughout the winter months and likely long after.
