A 'Life In The Saddle' involves a vast array of products: from bikes to bottle cages, lights to lubricants, and bags to bar tape. There is an endless list of items you might want and need.

To help you find some of the best cycling and outdoor adventure kit, these are my product reviews and kit recommendations...

Kit reviewed on Life In The Saddle has either been purchased, bought at cost price, or some has kindly been donated FOC by brands.

All reviews are honest, detailed, and personal. Just because a company has provided product, this does not mean it will get a positive review. Rather, if a product is not up to the high standard promoted through the site, a bad review would not be published but rather feedback to the brand would be provided to try and help them improve their product. Therefore, all the reviews found on Life In The Saddle are of products believed to be great pieces of cycling kit.

Star ratings are not used for reviews—as different people value different qualities of a product; therefore it seems wrong to try and rank a product against others with such personal objectives.
