Review Bellroy All-Conditions Phone Pocket Wallet

Way back in 2015, I did my first review of a Bellroy Phone Pocket; since that day one of these svelte leather wallets has been in my trouser or jersey pocket wherever I travel or ride. My last Bellroy All-Conditions Phone Pocket has travelled across continents, been on hundreds of local adventures (and countless trips to the shops) — last year it had its eighth birthday, marking a quite extraordinary level of everyday durability.

Given the unquestionably high quality of the Bellroy Phone Pocket, I was excited to hear of its re-release into the Bellroy range, following a few years hiatus. Whilst my original All-Conditions Phone Pocket is far from finished, I decided this updated and improved Version 2.0 would smarten things up in my everyday carry, and I was intrigued to see the new design developments…

The new All-Conditions range includes two sizes of the legendary Phone Pocket, as well as the All-Conditions Card Pocket. The three new designs feature a sleek and elevated style, with pre-moulded eco-tanned water-resistant leather, a more durable AquaGuard zipper and a subtle accent cord pull with a stopper knot.

The All-Conditions Phone Pocket fits a phone, two cards plus folded bills and coins, and 1-2 keys.

Organisation is king, and in the updated design you find a righthand stretch mesh pocket for your phone, and on the left an elastic key attachment for 1-2 keys that can be tucked away, as well as a pocket for cash, receipts and coins, and a card pocket up front. The redesigned pockets hold your phone more securely, as well as giving more security for your cards, cash and keys.

The All-Conditions Card Pocket fits up to ten cards, folded bills and coins, and 1-2 keys. The card pocket may be small, but it packs a punch: the cards can be slotted into the new stretch mesh pockets on either side of the wallet, and there is a little extra room for keys to tuck away safely secure on the elastic tether.

The new Bellroy All-Conditions Pocket range takes an already brilliant product and improves on it further. These beautiful leather wallets last for years, and look exceptionally sophisticated throughout their life, while also offering an everyday carry with the upmost practicality.
